Governor Yahaya Bello offered me N50m to step down for his anointed senatorial candidate, he increased it to N70m after I refused – Natasha Akpoti alleges

Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti has alleged that Governor Yahaya Bello offered her N50m to step down for his anointed senatorial candidate and increased it to N70m after she refused.

Appearing in an interview on Arise TV after being affirmed as winner of Kogi West senatorial election by a court of appeal, Natasha described Yahaya Bello as a “deluded” individual who wants to be seen as a mini-god.

She alleged that Yahaya Bello made the offer while she was in the APC. She said this made her move to the SDP to contest for the senatorial seat, before moving on to the PDP where she won the election.
