62nd Independence Day: There Is Hope For A Better Nigeria If….   – NICOT

The leadership of the Nigerian Community Turkey has restated its optimism and message of hope to Nigerians only if the electorates elect the most credible persons in the 2023 polls.

Speaking during an event to commemorate the 62nd Independence Day celebration of Nigeria, held in Istanbul Turkey, on Saturday, 1st October, 2022, Leaders of the Nigerian Community Turkey agreed that Nigeria being one of the most endowed Nations in the world needs a credible leader to steer the country out of its current challenges.

They said only the aforementioned would get Nigeria working optimally again.

The community leaders through her President, Prince Emre Magboh maintained that Nigeria’s endowment in human and material resources are countless, but a right leadership attitude is needed to manage the country’s wealth for the benefit of her citizens.

Prince Magboh posited that a Nation is defined by a collective interest of citizens as every generation has the responsibility to solve problems and identify the root cause.

He added, in spite of the challenges of leadership, insecurity, poverty, unemployment and other vices, the country Nigeria still remains hopeful for a better Nigeria after the general elections if credible leaders are sworn into public offices.

The vibrant head enjoined Nigerians to utilize the 2022 Independence Day celebration in taking stock of her journey 62 years after gaining freedom from her colonial masters.

Magboh enjoined the Country men to chart a new course for the actualization of a better Nation by electing credible Nigerian leaders/President who will build a Nigeria where everyone will be respected, given equal opportunity, justice and freedom.

On an interesting note, NICOT challenged the Independent National Electoral Commission on credible, free and fair elections in the coming year 2023.

Similarly, he tasked the voters to shun voter apathy in the upcoming polls so as to take their destinies by their hands with an advice that if they vote because of money, they would live to suffer it more.
